I'll be real here, there's some real substance to this when you're going fast. I can see speed running being really fun in this, but doing anything else is a genuine pain.
Jumping while going uphill will make you stick to the ground instead of launching off of it. Taking yourself out of the rolling state is also a chore as it takes forever for you to stop.
However, my biggest complaint is the wall jumping. Wall jumping, which usually is a simple task, is very frustrating. I often found myself Air-Dashing or falling while trying to wall jump as the key presses needed require way too much precision.
I see a lot of potential in this, but a bunch of small things like that can really break an experience for some. Either way, I'm still very interested in seeing where this project goes in the future.
